A ONE-WOMAN show

Hello! I am the owner and creator of Kawaiicore Creations!

Hi! My name is Lynh and I have been working with decoden for the past 15 years. You’re probably thinking, “Oh, so she did this as a baby?” NO! I look young, and I’m actually in my 30s.

BABY ACCESSORIZER

I’ve always loved accessorizing, especially with my hair. In grade school, I used to put stickers in my hair because I couldn’t afford cute hair clips. I decodened EVERYTHING. I love sparkles and I love making things look desserty and cutesy! If I could decoden something, I would! My inhaler was even decodened!

BORING ADULT LIFE

As an adult, I became a software engineer and was working a 9-5. I have always been a creative person, but I ended up a worker bee who doesn’t create anymore. Well, as any adult, ya girl has to make money to live.

UNEXPECTED TWISTS

I was suddenly laid off in August 2025. Of course, I got let go during one of the toughest times in tech.

I suffer from severe depression and anxiety, so abruptly losing my income was hard. I’m used to being an “independent woman that don’t need no man” and now I’m “a dependent woman who needs her man.” I am grateful for my husband, but I don’t like relying on him. I had so much time to think, so I figured, “Why don’t I just open up a hair accessory business for SOME income?”

AND BLAST OFF!

Holy guac did my shop take off! I was doing craft shows and selling locally, but I wanted to reach a wider audience. Therefore, I opened up an Etsy shop! My items sold well on there, but it was hurting me financially. Etsy charged me fees for each sale and basically anything else I do on there. Those fees add up, and I wasn’t profiting as much as I wanted. I was “just surviving,” but I’d rather feel secure. Listen, I love money, but I’m not a jerk. I’m not greedy and want to charge my customers an absurd price for my items. I love all of my customers, and I want them to enjoy my items!

MOVING TO MY OWN WEBSITE

Since the fees were killing me on Etsy, I decided to risk it for the biscuit and opened up my own online storefront! Here, I would be able to make my shop more “mine,” lower my prices, offer bundles, have time to create more products, and offer free shipping without hurting myself!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT

I have some amazing customers, and I couldn’t have made this move without you all!

The helpers / Security

Orion, the Golden Retriever, is mama’s little helper. He lets his mama know when she has a new package arriving and will help carry it in! His deep bark also scares all the bad people away (if there were any). He also sniffs the packages to ensure that there aren’t any unusual things in them! He’s your typical goofy golden, and he will force your hand for belly scratches.

Atlas, the German Shepherd, is our main security system. He is trained in bite-work, so he knows when to bite on command. So don’t even TRY anything funny! He also uses his sniffer to ensure there are no unusual things in packages. He looks scary, but he is mommy’s sweet little boy and extremely protective of her.
